Both Varsity and JV girls soccer teams are off to a good start. The JV girls played in the Hart Tournament this last Saturday (12/1) at Hart High School in Santa Clarita. They beat Hart HS (1-0) and Louisville HS (3-0), and will be moving on to the Finals next weekend.

Varsity had their first scrimmage against Viewpoint High School in Calabasas on Monday (12/3) winning with a score of (1-0). They prevailed with a first half goal, scored by senior Natasha "Tasha" Riches.  Our goalkeeper, sophomore Andreya Ventura, made several excellent saves as well.  The girls put up a strong defense against Viewpoint throughout the game.

Both teams are playing at home, versing West Adams HS on Wednesday and Monroe HS on Friday at 2:30 and 4:00 (JV then Varsity).  Varsity girls will be playing in the Torrance High School Tournament on Saturday.  Come out and support the girls soccer team this week!
